In the year 1994, HELIX invented the plug-in-system, that is used in all 2-, 3- and 4-blade fixed-pitch propellers.
The blade surface is protected by a special epoxy resin coating.
Conditioned to this aerodynamical smooth surface texture, the quietness of the propeller could be obviously increased.
Because of using special carbon materials HELIX achieves a noticeable weight reduction.
